CHALK PAINTING A GOLD MIRROR

 

When ppl see me painting a mirror frame they ask why I dont mask it off before I start.

 

?????

 

 Because you can wash ASCP right off your mirror after it dries.

 

 

 

 ASCP can also be distressed with water before waxing.

I like using wet kitchen sponges with a soft side and a coarse side.

 

 

 Once you achieve the look you want you can finish it with wax or not!

Because mirrors do not typical get handled very much you can get away with not waxing them.

Plz consider its use in your home when making this decision.

I have waxed this one because it will probably get moved around and used in future photo shoots.

 

 

Here it hangs on the wall, safe for now!

 

Be brave and paint your mirror!

GOLD VALENTINES gold chest reveal

 

 

 

There is something special about my new project that has

got me rather smitten with it, and here we are on Valentines Day.

 

I have a busy day ahead of me and not much time to write

but I wanted to share these photos with you.

 

 

You should see it in person it really is amazing, I keep reaching out and touching it.

 

Here is what it looked like before I started to work on it, you may not be able to tell but its gold.

 

 

I did a funky finish using the gold and I added long legs all the way around.

I used some great over sized hardware and added some perfectly placed wood appliques.

 

I even had to do some rebuilding to get the legs attached right.

 

 

 

And on this Valentines Day I dont mean to break your hearts but this pieces is staying with me.

But that means something else must go so keep watching ...
